Semi-Truck Hits Motorcycle Rider on Avenal Cutoff Road
LEMOORE, Calif. (Sept. 30, 2022) — A Lemoore hit-and-run motorcycle accident involving a semi-truck happened Friday morning on Avenal Cutoff Road at Lincoln Avenue.
The collision occurred about 5:56 a.m. on Sept. 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the motorcycle rider went down in the roadway in the westbound lanes. However, the driver of the big rig truck reportedly fled the scene without stopping to help the victim.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured rider, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, a tow truck came to remove the motorcycle from the roadway and it will be stored for evidence.
Also, investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
