2-Vehicle Car Accident on Cabrillo Highway 1
LOMPOC, Calif. (April 24, 2024) — A head-on Lompoc crash happened Wednesday morning on Cabrillo Highway 1, just south of Rancho San Julian.
The two-vehicle collision was reported at 8:10 a.m. on April 24th near Alamo Creek Road, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a gray Ford Focus sedan and a white truck were involved, but it’s unknown what caused the crash. One of the vehicles knocked over a “yellow narrow bridge” sign that needs replacing, the report said.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded and transported one person to a hospital with minor injuries, but there are no further details at this time.
Finally, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles and investigators are working to determine fault for the Lompoc crash on Cabrillo Highway 1.
