Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 101
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (April 24, 2024) — A major injury crash involving multiple vehicles happened Wednesday on Highway 101 near the Candlestick Park off ramp in San Francisco.
The collision, which involved around four vehicles, happened on the northbound 101 at around 1 p.m. on April 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials issued a SigAlert after a bus and multiple vehicles collided on the freeway. At least one of the vehicles overturned in the collision. A red Honda Accord had major front-end damage.
Paramedics responded and located at least one person with major injuries who was taken to a hospital.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the San Francisco crash on Highway 101.
