Major Injury Crash on U.S. Highway 101 in King City
KING CITY, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2022) — A major injury crash on the northbound Highway 101 at Jolon Road Thursday morning in the King City area.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 12:02 p.m. on Oct. 27th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP operators received a call from the OnStar service after it was alerted when a gray Chevrolet Suburban collided with another motorist.
There were “sounds of distress” heard by dispatch operators.
Two people in the Suburban suffered unknown injuries, but at least one had major injuries. Paramedics transported both of the people to a trauma unit at the nearest Medical Center.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the King City crash on Highway 101.
