Semi-Truck and Pickup Crash on Highway 101 in Bowman Place Area
MENDOCINO COUNTY, Calif. (April 11, 2022) — An accident between a semi-truck and pickup collided on Highway 101 in Bowman Place, Mendocino County.
The collision happened about 2:40 p.m. on Monday, April 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials say the vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances. The semi-truck loaded with dirt bags jackknifed, just north of the hog farm. Roughly 53 bags of dirt were thrown all over the roadway.
Meanwhile, the pickup became fully engulfed in flames and one person was trapped in the vehicle.
Caltrans closed down the roadway near the hog farm.
