Four Killed; One Injured in Crash at Mission Road and Jolon Road
MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (June 14, 2022) — Malisa Moua, 52, Pa Vue, 36, Xiong Lee, 44, and 45-year-old Mary Lee died in a head-on car accident Monday at Mission Road and Jolon Road in Monterey County.
Furthermore, the traffic accident occurred about 6:28 a.m. on June 13th in Jolon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported Mary Lee was driving a Toyota Corolla with the other three victims as passengers. The vehicle reportedly crashed head-on into a Honda Civic driven by Thomas Boots, just east of the Schoonover Airfield.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help the injured, but sadly four people died. However, Thomas Boots III of Hughson, survived the crash with major injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles for evidence.
It’s unknown what led up to the crash, but authorities are investigating the circumstances.
