Deadly, Hit-and-run Pedestrian Accident on Vineland Avenue
VALLEY GLEN, LOS ANGELES, Calif. (July 5, 2022) — A man in his early 50s using a wheelchair died Sunday morning in a hit-and-run collision on Vineland Avenue in the Valley Glen area of Los Angeles.
The deadly hit-and-run collision occurred about 2:55 a.m. on July 3rd, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A driver in a dark colored, four-door sedan was traveling south on Vineland Avenue when the vehicle struck the man between Sherman Way and Vanowen Street.
The man in the wheelchair suffered major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver failed to stop to render aid to the victim and fled the scene. There is no description of the suspect available at this time.
However, there is a reward of up to $50,000 available for any information regarding the case.
