NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (April 19, 2023) — A two-vehicle Newport Beach car accident on Newport Boulevard, just north of 32nd Street Sunday left a man riding a scooter hospitalized.
The traffic accident occurred around 3:55 p.m. on Sunday, April 16th in Newport Beach, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The Newport Beach Police Department reported police responded to the scene and located the injured scooter rider and a second motorist.
The Newport Beach Fire Department responded and transported the injured man to a local hospital for treatment of significant injuries. The man remained in hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the driver and passenger from the other vehicle that hit the scooter stopped and cooperated with the police investigation.
