MARYSVILLE, Calif. (Sept. 1, 2022) — A Marysville bicycle accident on North Beale Road happened Thursday morning near Alpine Way.
The crash occurred about 7:27 a.m. on Sept. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials say a driver in a gray Toyota sedan struck the bicycle rider on North Beale Road. It’s unknown what led up to the collision. It appears there are bicycle lanes on Beale Road in both directions.
The vehicle involved was stopped in the turn lane following the crash. Someone called 911 to report the crash, but told operators they did not see the traffic accident happen.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to the scene to treat the injured rider and both eastbound and westbound lanes were temporarily blocked.
