Minor Injury Crash on Garden Grove 22 Freeway, Euclid Street

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (Dec. 6, 2022) —  One person was injured Tuesday in a crash on the Garden Grove 22 Freeway, just east of Euclid Street.

The two-vehicle crash occurred about 9 a.m. on Dec. 6th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the crash was blocking the eastbound HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway. The drivers involved were in a blue 1999 Ford Ranger pickup truck and another vehicle.

One person traveling in the Ford Ranger suffered minor injuries in the crash. Paramedics responded and transported the person to UCI Medical Center for further treatment.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.

Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Garden Grove crash on the 22 Freeway.
