Major Injury Monterey Park Motorcycle Accident on SR-60

 Monterey Park Motorcycle Crash 60 Freeway, Garfield Avenue MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (May 6, 2021) — A Monterey Park motorcycle crash happened Thursday morning on the 60 Freeway.

The crash, involving two vehicles, happened about 3:04 a.m. on May 6th near North Garfield Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Police report the rider went down in the slow lane of the westbound State Route 60.

Motorcycle Rider Hospitalized

Meanwhile, the rider stumbled to get up on the right shoulder after the collision, police said. Paramedics with the Monterey Park Fire Department responded and transported the injured motorcycle rider to a hospital due to major injuries. The CHP report does not mention if there were any others hurt in the crash. The injured motorcycle rider has not been identified.

It’s unknown what led up to the Monterey Park motorcycle crash, but investigators are piecing together evidence and witness statements to confirm liability.
