Van Hits Motorcycle Rider on I-215 Freeway
MORENO VALLEY, Calif. (March 16, 2023) — A Moreno Valley motorcycle crash happened Thursday morning involving a van on the Interstate 215 Freeway, just north of Cactus Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the southbound lanes of the I-215 around 5:49 a.m. on March 16th, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The van struck the motorcycle rider in the middle lanes due to unknown circumstances. The driver in the van pulled over on the right shoulder and a driver in a Hyundai stopped to help the injured rider. The rider suffered injuries in the Moreno Valley motorcycle crash.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured motorcyclist to Riverside University Hospital.
The motorcycle crash on the 215 Freeway remains under investigation by the CHP.
