Motorcyclist Injured on 105 Freeway in Long Beach
LONG BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 15, 2024) — A motorcycle rider was involved in a car accident Thursday morning on the westbound Glenn Anderson 105 Freeway, just east of Long Beach Boulevard.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 7:49 a.m. on Feb. 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the rider went down on the freeway and suffered a leg injury after colliding with a white Subaru in the HOV lane, the report said.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured rider to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the bike from the roadway and traffic investigators are working to determine fault for the motorcycle accident on the 105 Freeway.
