 Motorcycle Rider Robert Kerman Killed in Palm Springs Crash Amado Road

Fatal Car Accident at Palm Springs Intersection

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (March 27, 2024) — Robert Kerman, 71, of Palm Desert, died after a Palm Springs motorcycle accident on East Amado Road and North Hermosa Drive near the Tierra Hermosa and Casa Verde neighborhoods.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 9:21 p.m. on Friday, March 20th, according to the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.

The motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided at the intersection. The second motorist reportedly made a turn into the path of the motorcyclist, the Desert Sun reports.

Paramedics responded and rushed the 71-year-old Palm Desert man to Desert Regional Medical Center where he later died at 9:49 p.m. the same night.

The Palm Springs Police Department is heading up the investigation into the cause of the crash and liability for the man’s death.
