Lawndale Car Accident on Interstate 405 Freeway in Inglewood
LAWNDALE, Calif. (April 10, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Wednesday on the northbound 405 Freeway at Inglewood Avenue in Lawndale.
The traffic accident occurred in the northbound lanes of the 405 Freeway at around 11:24 a.m. on April 10th, just south of Inglewood Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a gray Nissan Rogue reportedly lost control and collided with a red Acura Integra, a Tesla, a Lexus, a Toyota Matrix and a gray BMW. It happened in the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway, prompting a SigAlert.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department sent paramedics to help those injured, but there are no further details at this time.
An investigation into liability for the car accident on the 405 Freeway is underway.
