Santa Clarita Car Accident on State Route 14
SANTA CLARITA, Cali. (March 28, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Thursday morning on the southbound Antelope Valley 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita.
The collision occurred at around 10:27 a.m. on March 28th, just north of the Interstate 5 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Toyota Prius, a white Chevrolet SUV and w white Nissan were among the vehicles involved. Airbags were deployed in the vehicles and one of the white cars was facing the wrong way. Another vehicle had major front-end damage and the cars were blocking the HOV and No. 1 lanes.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those injured in the accident, but there are no further details at this time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least two of the vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway crash.
