Minor Injury Crash Involving 9 Vehicles on US 101
BURLINGAME, Calif. (Feb. 29, 2024) — A major crash involving nine vehicles happened Thursday afternoon on the southbound Highway 101 and Broadway in Burlingame.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred at around 2:06 p.m. on Feb. 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a black Mercedes Benz SUV, a black Honda Odyssey, a Ford F-150 pickup truck, an Acura and five other vehicles were involved.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with minor injuries, but there are no further details.
Also, police issued a SigAlert and tow trucks removed at least four of the vehicles from the roadway due to damage.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash that was blocking the Nos. 1 to 4 lanes of Highway 101.
