5-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Freeway in Laguna Hills
LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. (August 17, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash on the southbound I-5 Freeway near Alicia Parkway happened Wednesday morning in Laguna Hills.
The crash occurred in the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes about 7:25 a.m. on August 17th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch report.
A black sedan reportedly overturned in the middle lane. Also, a silver Ford Mustang, a semi-truck and two other vehicles were among those involved in the crash.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt, but fortunately there are no serious injuries.
It’s unknown if they transported anyone to a hospital, but at least one person had minor injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the Mustang and the overturned sedan from the crash scene.
Investigators are piecing together the evidence and witness statements to determine fault.
