Two Cars, Motorcycle Crash on 101 Freeway Near Downtown LA
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Nov. 18, 2021) — A multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on the 101 Freeway Thursday morning happened near the Harbor (110) Freeway transition near downtown Los Angeles.
The collision happened in the southbound lanes of the freeway about 4:58 a.m. on Nov. 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported the bike went down in the middle traffic lanes. The motorcyclist managed to get up and run off the freeway, leaving the bike in traffic lanes.
Additionally, two other motorists collided with the bike and one person became trapped in his vehicle, police said.
A vehicle had major front-end damage and another vehicle had major rear-end damage due to the crash.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help anyone hurt in the collision.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the collision.
