Motorcycle Rider Hurt in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-880
OAKLAND, Calif. (April 13, 2022) — A 4-vehicle Oakland crash on the Interstate 880 Freeway happened Wednesday morning near 29th Avenue.
The multi-vehicle accident occurred on the northbound I-880 about 7:11 a.m. on April 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report the drivers of a motorcycle, a white Nissan SUV and two other vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances, just north of Fruitvale Avenue.

The rider went down in the No. 2 lane and the SUV blocked the No. 1 lane following the crash.
Paramedics responded with an ambulance for the motorcycle rider who suffered minor injuries. The report did not mention the age, gender or identity of the injured person.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown what led up to the Oakland collision and who is responsible.
