4-Vehicle Crash in San Jose on Highway 85
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Jan. 27, 2022) — A multi-vehicle San Jose crash happened Thursday morning on the northbound Highway 85 at the Union Avenue on ramp.
The four-vehicle crash happened in the northbound lanes about 8:23 a.m. on Jan. 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers responded to the crash scene involving the drivers of a dark gray Toyota Prius, a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, a white Ford Explorer SUV and a silver Toyota 4 Runner. The white SUV was still blocking the No. 2 or 3 lane, but the other three motorists pulled to the right shoulder.
The Explorer suffered rear-end damage and required a tow truck.
Paramedics responded due to minor injuries for at least one person. Meanwhile, it’s unknown at this time if there were other injuries.
The cause of the San Jose car accident is under investigation.
