Multi-Vehicle Car Accident on I-215 Freeway in Murrieta
MURRIETA, Calif. (August 8, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Murrieta crash on the Interstate 215 Freeway happened Monday morning on the Interstate 215 Freeway in Murrieta.
The crash occurred about 10:20 a.m. on August 8th in the northbound lanes of the I-215 Freeway between Clinton Keith and Scott roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A CHP dispatch report stated that a driver in a semi-truck hauling bricks allegedly sideswiped a pickup truck. The pickup then collided with a driver in a Toyota Yaris and a second pickup.
Paramedics with the Murrieta and Riverside fire departments responded to the scene, but none of those involved were transported to a hospital. It’s unknown what injuries were involved.
Meanwhile, a tow truck responded to remove the damaged Toyota sedan from the crash scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
