2-Vehicle Car Accident on I-215 Freeway
MURRIETA, Calif. (March 4, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash in Murrieta happened Monday on the Interstate 215 Freeway, just north of South Los Alamos Road.
The collision occurred on the southbound I-215 at around 6 a.m. on March 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a gray Toyota Prius, a white Honda Civic, a brown Chevrolet and a gray Mazda sedan were stopped on the freeway. Two of the vehicles had collided and the others stopped to help.
The Murrieta Police Department responded to the scene to help those involved.
Meanwhile, they requested paramedics from the Murrieta Fire Department to help those injured including one person trapped in a vehicle with a head injury, the report said.
Tow trucks removed two of the vehicles from the roadway due to damage from the crash.
Traffic investigators will issue a report and determine fault for the Murrieta crash on the 215 Freeway.
