Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Crash on I-215 Freeway
MURRIETA, Calif. (Feb. 22, 2024) — A motorcycle rider was injured Thursday morning in a multi-vehicle car accident on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway in Murrieta.
The collision occurred at around 6:47 a.m. on Feb. 22nd, just north of the I-15 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a white Honda Civic and a motorcycle rider collided and both vehicles moved to the right shoulder. Two other sedans were stopped, but it’s unknown if they were also involved.
The Murrieta Fire Department responded to help the injured rider and transported the person to Inland Valley Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Murrieta crash on the 215 Freeway.
