NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (Dec. 8, 2022) — A two-vehicle National City crash on the Interstate 5 Freeway happened Thursday morning just south of Mile of Cars Way.
The collision occurred about 7:02 a.m. on Dec. 8th, near Bay Marina Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a gray sedan and a gray Chevrolet pickup truck collided in the northbound lanes of the I-5 Freeway, police said.
The vehicles blocked the two right lanes of the freeway. Paramedics responded to help those injured, but there are no specific details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
