Woman, 51, Struck and Killed in Rancho Dominguez is Identified
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (March 28, 2024) – Nicole Cook, 51, died in a pedestrian accident Thursday morning on South Santa Fe Avenue, just north of Del Amo Boulevard in the Rancho Dominguez area.
The deadly crash occurred at around 5:30 a.m. in the 19500 block of S. Santa Fe Avenue near Carson in Los Angeles County, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
A driver struck the victim in the roadway, but there are no further details at this time. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified Nicole Cook as the woman who died.
The Los Angeles Police Department is heading up the investigation into the cause of the Rancho Dominguez pedestrian accident as well as liability for the woman’s death.
