Motorcyclist Killed, Passenger Injured in Brentwood Crash
BRENTWOOD, Calif. (April 30, 2024) — A 37-year-old Brentwood man riding a motorcycle died and two others were injured in a traffic accident Saturday night on Brentwood Boulevard.
The collision happened at around 10:33 p.m. on Saturday, April 27th at Valdry Courtin in front of the Dutch Bros coffee shop, according to The Mercury News police said.
The man and a 37-year-old Brentwood woman riding on the bike with him were both critically injured in the crash, but the man died at the scene. The woman survived and was airlifted to a local hospital to be treated for major injuries, police said.
Meanwhile, the 18-year-old Brentwood woman driving the other vehicle stopped and cooperated with authorities and the investigation.
She was treated for minor injuries and transported to a hospital.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault, but alcohol and or drugs were a factor in the traffic accident.
