Nurse Charged in Crash Killing 6 in Windsor Hills
WINDSOR HILLS, Calif. (Aug. 5, 2022) — A registered nurse identified as Nicole Linton, 37, is facing manslaughter charges following a deadly crash Thursday at La Brea and Slauson avenues in the Windsor Hills area of Los Angeles.
The nurse was reportedly driving a Mercedes-Benz that drove through the intersection at high speed and collided with five other motorists.
The Los Angeles Times reports the woman is being questioned by investigators while being treated for her injuries at the hospital. Authorities have not yet determined if drugs and or alcohol were factors in the collision.
The fiery crash happened yesterday afternoon about 1;40 p.m. on August 4th.
Asherey Ryan was traveling to a doctor’s appointment in her vehicle with her toddler son and her boyfriend when the Mercedes slammed into her vehicle. All three of them died, along with her unborn son. Two others also died and eight people suffered a range of injuries and were hospitalized.
The identities of the other two people who died and those injured were not released.
The crash remains under investigation.
