1 Killed, 2 Injured in North Palm Springs Crash Near Highway 62 and Dillon Road
NORTH PALM SPRINGS, CA (May 31, 2021) – A crash killed one person and injured two others on Highway 62 in North Palm Springs.

The Riverside County Fire Department received a call about the tragic accident late Monday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:14 p.m.
A post by Cal Fire and KESQ News wrote that two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in the North Palm Springs community. They crashed near Highway 62 and Dillon Road.
2 Vehicles Collide Head-On in North Palm Springs
The California Highway Patrol said a car rolled over onto incoming traffic. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated at least one trapped occupant from the wreckage.
Officials confirmed that one victim died as a result of the collision. Two other people ended up hurt due to the impact of the crash.
Medical personnel then took both patients to a hospital for treatment. One suffered moderate injuries while the other sustained minor wounds.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Highway 62 and Dillon Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the fatal North Palm Springs crash is still under investigation.
