2-Vehicle Crash on State Route Highway 162
OROVILLE, Calif. (March 21, 2024) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Thursday morning in Oroville on Highway 162 near the Gold Country Casino Resort.
The traffic accident occurred in front of 4020 State Route 162 at around 6:33 a.m. on March 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a Toyota Corolla sedan and a Chevrolet were involved. The Toyota had major front-end damage and the Chevrolet had major rear-end and side damage from the accident, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with minor injuries, but there are no further details at this time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the highway and investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on Highway 162 in Oroville.
