OXNARD, Calif. (Jan. 11, 2023) — A multi-vehicle Oxnard crash on East Pleasant Valley Road happened Wednesday afternoon near Laguna Road.
The collision occurred about 1:54 p.m. on Jan. 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a silver Toyota Avalon, a yellow SUV and a black sedan are involved. One of the motorist told authorities it was their fault as they were unable to stop and the vehicle possibly slid on mud in the roadway. The Toyota reportedly went off the roadway about 15 feet and wound up in a ditch. The SUV suffered major front-end damage in the accident.
Paramedics with the Ventura County Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the crash.
Meanwhile, authorities are working on the case to determine liability for the crash on Pleasant Valley Road.
