PAICINES, Calif. (Feb. 3, 2023) — A two-vehicle crash in the Paicines area happened Friday morning on state Route Highway 25 at Murphy Road, just south of Hollister.
The collision occurred about 10 a.m. on Feb. 3rd, in San Benito County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials say the drivers of a white Chevrolet Equinox or Sonic and a blue Mini Cooper are involved in the collision.
The Chevrolet lost a rear tire and the Mini Cooper went roughly 20 feet off the roadway following the traffic accident. A 911 caller told operators the driver of the Mini was crawling out of the vehicle.
A female driver suffered minor injuries and required an ambulance to take her to Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital.
Tow trucks removed the two vehicles and authorities noted the Chevrolet is a company car.
Investigators will determine fault for the crash on State Route 25 in Paicines.
