Pedestrian Struck by Minivan on Varner Road
PALM DESERT, Calif. (April 22, 2024) — A minivan struck a pedestrian Monday morning in Palm Desert at Varner Road and Avenue 38.
The traffic accident occurred at around 5:52 A.M. on April 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police and paramedics responded to the crash scene on Varner Road, just east of 38th Street and located a pedestrian with undisclosed major injuries.
An ambulance transported the injured person to a hospital, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, the driver in the white Kia minivan stopped and cooperated with the police investigation.
Finally, the case remains under investigation to determine fault.
