Pedestrian Hurt in Crash on Normandie Avenue
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 5, 2022) — A pedestrian accident happened Tuesday afternoon on South Normandie Avenue in the Westmont area of Los Angeles.
The collision occurred about 1:25 p.m. on April 5th near 105th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver struck the victim, but it’s unknown what led up to the crash at the intersection in front of West Athens Victory Garden.
There is no marked crosswalks in the area and two lanes of traffic in each direction. Paramedics responded to the crash scene at 10501 S. Normandie Avenue to help the injured person.
Investigators are working on the cause of the pedestrian accident on Normandie Avenue as well as liability.
