Major Injury Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101

PASO ROBLES, Calif. (March 1, 2024) – A major injury pedestrian accident happened Monday night on Highway 101, just south of Highway 46 in Paso Robles.

It happened at around 6:40 p.m. on Feb. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a 2005 Nissan sedan was northbound on Highway 101 when the driver struck a pedestrian in traffic lanes.

Paramedics responded and rushed the 40-year-old pedestrian to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver and passenger from the Nissan reported minor injuries at the scene, but they were not taken to the hospital.

The California Highway Patrol-Templeton Area is heading up the investigation.
