
HESPERIA, Calif. (Dec. 15, 2022) – Pedro Perez, 24, of Apple Valley, and Ruben Medina, 27, of Hesperia, both died in a Hesperia crash on Arrowhead Lake Road at Hesperia Lake Park.
The solo crash occurred Tuesday, Dec. 13th in the 7500 block of Arrowhead Lake Road, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
The driver and passenger of a gold-colored 2002 Buick Century both died in the crash. The coroner identified them as Pedro Perez and Ruben Medina.
The driver reportedly swerved off the roadway and crashed into a large tree at Hesperia Lake Park. The impact caused the vehicle to become stuck against the tree, according to Victor Valley News Group.
Police reported both the driver and passenger died at the scene.
The family of Ruben Medina has created a GoFundMe account to raise money for funeral expenses.
Finally, the Hesperia Police Department is heading up the investigation into the cause of the collision.
