Multi-Vehicle Motorcycle Crash on I-80 Freeway in Pinole
PINOLE, Calif. (Oct. 26, 2022) — A Pinole motorcycle accident happened Wednesday morning on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway, just west of the Richmond Parkway on ramp.
The collision occurred about 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two motorcycles and a sedan collided due to unknown circumstances, according to the report. One of the motorcyclists went down and was lying in the center divider following the collision.
The Contra Costa Fire Department responded with paramedics to help those injured in the crash.
A tow truck removed at least one of the motorcycles from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the collision.
