2 Killed, 1 Injured and Driver Arrested on DUI Charges
TRACY, Calif. (April 23, 2024) — Reva Moses, 24, and Torrance Randle Jr., 18, both died in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver early Sunday at Laguna and Holly drives in Tracy.
The deadly crash occurred at around 5:20 a.m. on Sunday, April 21st, according to the Tracy Police Department.
Police officers responded to the intersection of Laguna Drive and Holly Drive and came upon the crash involving a gray Dodge Charger that collided with a parked Chevrolet pickup truck, according to Fox 40 News.
Unfortunately, a 24-year-old Vallejo woman identified as Reva Moses had died at the scene and although an 18-year-old Tracy man identified as Torrance Randle Jr., survived, he later died from his injuries at the hospital.
The San Joaquin Office of the Medical Examiner identified both victims.
Meanwhile, a third passenger just 15 years old survived with “serious injuries” and was transported to a local hospital.
Investigators are working on the case, but preliminary evidence suggests the 24-year-old driver Iman Gullatt from Tracy was “under the influence of alcohol,” police said. The motorist was arrested and faces multiple other charges.
