Riverside 91 Freeway Crash at Coal Canyon Road in Anaheim Hills

2-Vehicle Car Accident on State Route 91

ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif. (Jan. 3, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash on the Riverside 91 Freeway happened Wednesday morning, just east of Coal Canyon Road in Anaheim Hills.

The collision occurred on the eastbound State Route 91 at around 7:15 a.m. on Jan. 3rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A driver in a gray Kia EV6 reportedly rear-ended a gray Ford Taurus, causing the Ford to skid across all traffic lanes and hit a vehicle on the mainline. One of the cars wound up facing the wrong way in traffic lanes.

Paramedics responded to help at least one person with injuries, but there are no further details.

Meanwhile, a tow truck was requested to remove the damaged vehicle from the freeway.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the Riverside 91 Freeway crash in Anaheim Hills.
