RUNNING SPRINGS, Calif. (July 1, 2022) — A head-on crash on City Creek Road happened Friday morning in Running Springs.

The collision occurred about 9:04 a.m. on July 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck collided with a semi-truck hauling a forklift on a trailer. The big rig truck reportedly was dangling 30 feet over the side of the roadway with a forklift upside down and running, the report said.

The occupants from both vehicles managed to get out, but one was bleeding from the head and “looks out of it,” the report said.
