
Sacramento County, Calif, (March 10, 2023) – Ryan Steven Smith, 36, of Oakley, died in two-vehicle crash Thursday on State Route 160 and Brannan Island Road.
The California Highway Patrol reported the collision around 2 p.m. on March 9th in the city of Rio Vista in South Sacramento County.
The vehicles involved in the collision were a gray Nissan Altima and a white truck. The CHP later added multiple other vehicles were involved in the fatal crash.
Fatal Car Accident in Sacramento County
Shortly after 2p.m., paramedics responded to help those injured, but Ryan Smith died following the collision. The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner identified him on its website.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash at State Route 160 and Brannan Island Road in Rio Vista.
