Truck Hits Bicyclist at Mack Road and Stockton Blvd.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (April 22, 2024) — A bicycle rider was injured Monday in a Sacramento accident involving a semi-truck and or another vehicle at Mack Road and Stockton Boulevard.
The traffic accident occurred at around 5:40 A.M. on April 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the truck driver reportedly struck the bicyclist, but two vehicles pulled over that possibly struck the victim.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded and located the bicycle rider with a minor head injury, but it’s unknown if the person was taken to a hospital.
Meanwhile, police closed down the left-hand turn lane and the eastbound No. 1 lane of the roadway to traffic while they conducted an investigation.
The case remains under investigation.
