Multi-Vehicle Sacramento Crash at Watt Ave, Fruitridge Road
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (August 22, 2022) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Monday at the intersection of South Watt Avenue and Fruitridge Road in Sacramento.
The collision occurred about 8:39 a.m. on August 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials say the drivers of a silver Lexus SUV, a white Toyota Prius and a white dump truck collided due to unknown circumstances. The vehicles blocked the intersection and authorities called paramedics due to two people hurt in the Lexus, the report said.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to the scene to help those hurt in the collision, but there are no further details at this time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the vehicles and police are heading up an investigation into the accident.
