2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Car Accident in Salinas
SALINAS, Calif. (October 21, 2021) – A multi-vehicle Salinas car accident left two people with injuries Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol reported the collision around 1:11 p.m. on Oct. 21st at West Blanco Road and Armstrong Road.
There are three vehicles involved in the Salinas car accident. A driver reportedly crashed into the side of a white Chevrolet Camaro and overturned onto its side.
Meanwhile, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and located one person with major injuries. A second person had complaints of pain. Emergency crews transported both by ambulance to the scene to take the injured people to the hospital. The CHP report did not mention the age, gender or identities of any of the victims.
Finally, police closed down Blanco Road at Hitchcock Road for an unknown duration after the Salinas car accident.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash as well as liability.
