Pedestrian Struck by Car on I-210 Freeway in San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (June 2, 2021) — A pedestrian accident happened Wednesday on the Interstate 210 Freeway.
A driver in a gray BMW struck the pedestrian after the man allegedly jumped or fell in front of the oncoming vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened about 11:51 a.m. on June 2nd near Golden Avenue, the CHP said. The driver told investigators they didn’t see the victim in the slow lane before they struck him.

The unidentified man suffered undisclosed injuries in the collision. Paramedics responded and treated the man, but it’s unknown if the person was transported to a hospital.
Meanwhile, several vehicles stopped to help after some of them witnessed the collision. It’s unknown if drugs and or alcohol were factors.
Investigators will determine fault for the 210 Freeway pedestrian accident. Witnesses may contact police.
