Injury Crash on Highway 163 (SR-163) in Balboa Park
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Oct. 17, 2022) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Monday morning on State Route Highway 163, just south of El Prado in the Balboa Park area of San Diego.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of SR-163 about 5:57 a.m. on Oct. 17th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a black Nissan, a white vehicle and a blue Prius were involved.
Paramedics transported at least one person hurt in the crash, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed two of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
