Motorcyclist Hurt in San Leandro Crash on I-880 Freeway
SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (June 9, 2022) — A two-vehicle San Leandro motorcycle versus car accident happened Thursday morning on the southbound Interstate 880 Freeway.
The collision occurred about 6:22 a.m. on June 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a black motorcycle and a gray GMC Sierra pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances. CHP officials reported the two drivers collided in the No. 1 lane, leaving the motorcycle rider with undisclosed injuries.
Paramedics responded to the scene to treat those hurt in the crash, but there are no further details.
A tow truck responded to remove the motorcycle from the crash scene.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the San Leandro crash on the I-880 Freeway.
