2-Vehicle, Rollover Crash in Santa Clarita on the I-5 Freeway
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (April 11, 2022) — A two-vehicle Santa Clarita crash on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway happened Monday morning near Rye Canyon Road.
The collision occurred about 6:46 a.m. on April 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a black GMC pickup truck and a white Ford 2500 Transit van collided in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway.
Both vehicles overturned onto their sides during the crash, police said.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene to help those hurt in the collision. It’s unknown if they took anyone to a hospital at this time.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Santa Clarita crash on the I-5 Freeway.
