Motorcyclist Injured in Hit-and-run on Antelope Valley Freeway
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (Sept. 29, 2022) — A motorcycle rider suffered injuries in a hit-and-run car accident on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway north of Agua Dulce Canyon Road in Santa Clarita.
The two-vehicle crash occurred in the southbound lanes of the freeway about 9:14 a.m. on Sept. 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police say the motorcycle rider went down near the center divider, but the driver in the other vehicle fled the scene. Meanwhile, another motorist in a white SUV stopped to help the injured rider. The injured motorcycle rider was sitting in the passenger seat when the motorist called 911 for help.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help the rider, but there are no further details.
Investigators are hoping the public will provide further details about the suspect.
