SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 24, 2023) — A minor injury crash occurred Tuesday morning on the northbound Highway 1 in the Larkin Valley-Aptos Hills area.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 10 a.m. on Jan. 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drives of a silver RAV 4 SUV and a black Dodge sedan are involved in the wreck.
One person suffered a back injury and required paramedics. The vehicles were moved off to the Larkin Valley off ramp, the report said.
Meanwhile, an ambulance responded to possibly transport the injured to a hospital.
Tow trucks came to remove at least one of the vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
